The world is big and small
A man who made his fortune and retired early to a market town, bought a shop, painted it pink and filled it with crystal chandeliers.
It brings pleasure to most who see/enter it whether they’re in the market for a chandelier or not.
I’m sure he’s not bothered about selling any chandeliers.
But he takes joy in chatting with the passersby and seeing their delight at the sparkly wonderment in his shop.
When there’s war and poverty and overturning of human rights in the world though, isn’t that a ridiculous thing to do?
No.
Everyone has their role.
